Why it’s important to have CBD Lab Reports
CBD has recently skyrocketed into popularity. You see it everywhere these days. But have you ever stopped to ask yourself… are these products real and who regulates them?
The answer to that question is that the U.S. hemp industry is still evolving and for the most part, unregulated by any government agency. This is why it’s very important to make sure you purchase CBD products from a trusted supplier like Pete’s CBD. Pete’s CBD makes sure all products are clean and safe for our customers by double lab testing CBD products to ensure purity and potency.
Third-party lab testing of CBD products is the baseline for making sure your favorite CBD brand is the real deal. You want to have peace of mind that the CBD products you are using are safe and effective. This standard separates the good companies from the bad pretty easily. CBD companies that do not test their products by a third-party lab should be avoided. If CBD products are not tested, how can anyone really know that what they’re getting is safe, potent or even effective!

So what to check for on third-party lab tested CBD reports?
When reviewing the lab reports, the most important thing to check is the amount of CBD in each product. If a product line does not have a meaningful level of CBD, it will not be effective. Unfortunately, many companies in the CBD space are making claims that their products contain a certain amount of CBD, when in reality they have far less active CBD than the label shows. Pete’s CBD infused concentrated CBD at 377mg per oz and 400mg per oz. Don’t be tricked by companies that sprinkle minimal levels of CBD in their line just to be used for marketing purposes. For example; a CBD lotion may contain 50mg of CBD in an 8 fl oz. tube size. This means that there is only 6.25 mg per fl oz. If you apply a pump of lotion to your skin, you’re not getting an effective level of CBD. Don’t be fooled by the total amount of CBD in the total product, check the mg per oz.
Microbial reports
You want to make sure the products you are purchasing are clean and backed up with microbial testing. It’s very important when buying CBD products to check to make sure things such as salmonella, yeast, mold and mycotoxins are not detected in the lab results.
Pete’s CBD third-party lab testing
One of Pete’s CBD founding principles is a commitment to transparency. What you see is what you get! Pete’s CBD was started in an effort to provide reliable CBD products that are safe and formulated with clean ingredients. At Pete’s CBD all raw materials, including CBD, are tested upon arrival at the facility. Once the product is formulated it is then tested for both microbial analysis and CBD levels. Once the results confirm the formula meets Pete’s CBD standards, each batch is then filled into high quality CBD packaging and re-tested to ensure exact specifications are met or exceeded. Pete’s CBD offers only the finest quality CBD products on the market.
